The Nigerian superstar unveils the romantic and light-hearted video of “Dangerous Love”, already in the top 10 of 16 African countries.
Tiwa Savage needs no introduction: with a career lasting more than 10 years, with numerous classics, hits and three albums to her name, the afrobeat singer is indeed a superstar. In 2018, she even managed to beat Davido, Fally Ipupa and Shekhinah by being selected as the best African artist at the MTV Europe Music Awards.
The singer is currently preparing her 4th album, Celia, which should be released very soon via American label Motown. “Dangerous Love” is a single of the upcoming project and sets the bar high for this body of work. Produced by Cracker Mallo, a beatmaker known for his collaborations with Olamide and Zlatan, the track is a bewitching and suave mix of afrobeats and RnB.
In the vocals that punctuate the refrains, one can recognize in particular the signature voice of the singer Oxlade, who participated in the elaboration of the title track. The scenario of the clip is simple and perfectly embodies the purpose of the song: Tiwa, under the advice of her friends, prepares herself for the dangerous coming of her crush.
So we know you love Facebook to keep in touch with friends and family....to share jokes, to find long lost work colleagues, family or school friends. But did you know that African FM has its own Facebook community? Did you know that thousands of listeners like you are online right now?
You know that Skinny Latte that you purchased on your way into work this morning....or that treat that you purchased en route home yesterday evening? How about if you just spared those couple of dollars and donated them to a worthy cause instead?
So here's the story. African FM is YOUR radio station. We're not some big conglomerate profit spinning radio giant. Nope. We're a small voluntary project where everybody who works here does it for free, and gives up some of their very hectic schedule in order to bring YOU amazing entertaining every hour, every day, every week. Running a station like African FM costs money....fact. So in order to survive we need support...support from listeners like YOU. Without your support, African FM won't be around. It really is that simple.
So please....instead of that Latte tomorrow morning, or going large - supersizing that fast food order, please donate your spare few dollars to African FM to really really help our cause continue and grow.
It's super easy to donate to African FM. We've set up a PayPal donate button which of course means it's totally safe and secure.
