Big John's Reggae Show
with Big John

Come experience the beauty of Africa, food, live music, fashion.

Superstar Myra Maimoh and a host of other African artists will be on stage to showcase our music, dance, food and art.

Cameroonian-born Myra Maimoh grew up in a big, Christian family in Bamenda with her mother being her greatest musical influence by shopping records. Influenced by her mothers discs of Skeeter Davies, James Brown, Ella Fitzgerald, Louis Armstrong, African blues and throughout the spectrum from country music, traditional African music to jazz and pop, Myra started singing and dancing, while still in preschool at the age of 3.

This event is free and family friendly. So bring the entire family so we can celebrate together.

Synrgy is pulling double duty on 7/3, first there's a show at the O.B. Farmer's Market (all O.B. fam invited to share the mic & the vibe) that's from 4pm to 8pm and then the Main Event...Something Like Seduction (a great band by the way) are opening for Synrgy at Winston's for a night of dance, romance and a little "Rub-a-Dub"

Marking its 20th anniversary Musicport Festival 2019 is keen to bring back some of the acts who have helped create the festival’s ethos and reputation in what will no doubt end up being seen as a “Best Of Musicport“ line-up.
